U.S. Court in Rhode Island Temporarily Enjoins Parts of HHS Restructuring

A federal judge in Rhode Island granted July 1 a preliminary injunction to a coalition of 20 state attorneys general (AGs) who sued Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to block sweeping changes to the agency, including layoffs, restructuring, and program cuts.
