ACIP Calls for Patients to Consult with Medical Providers for COVID Vaccine

During its closely watched meeting on September 19, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice (ACIP) unanimously recommended that patients six months or older engage in “shared clinical decision-making” with their health care provider before receiving the COVID vaccine.
