CMS Proposes 2.3% Payment Increase for Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities

Total payments to Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities (IPFs) are estimated to increase by 2.3%, or $50 million, in fiscal year (FY) 2027 under a proposed rule issued April 2 by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
