U.S. Court in Pennsylvania Tosses Hospitals’ Antitrust Action Against CVS over Drug Discounts

A federal court in Pennsylvania again dismissed, with prejudice, an antitrust action alleging CVS Health Corporation unlawfully tied its contract pharmacy services under the 340B discount drug program to the use of its wholly owned third-party administrator (TPA) Wellpartner, LLC in violation of Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act.
