Fifth Circuit Vacates $4.3 Million Penalty Imposed on Texas Cancer Center for Data Breach

The Fifth Circuit vacated January 14 a $4.3 million fine that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) imposed on the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in connection with data breaches that affected 35,000 patients.
