HHS to Distribute $1.75 Billion in COVID Relief Funds to Providers

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is distributing an additional $ 1.75 billion in Provider Relief Fund (PRF) Phase 4 payments to health care providers who have experienced revenue losses and expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced April 13.
The latest round of Phase 4 General Distribution payments is going to more than 3,600 providers across the country, HHS said.
According to a press release, roughly 92% of all Phase 4 applications have been processed, with more than $21 billion distributed since November 2021.
