MACPAC Calls for HCBS Wage Reporting to Help Reduce Workforce Shortages

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) should require states to report hourly wages paid to home- and community-based services (HCBS) workers, which would help Medicaid programs more effectively set HCBS payment rates, the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC) said in its March report.
