CMS Reports Declining ACA Coverage for 2026 Plan Year

About 23.1 million consumers selected or were automatically re-enrolled in Affordable Care Act (ACA) coverage through HealthCare.gov and state-based exchanges, a 5% decrease from last year, according to the Health Insurance Exchanges 2026 Open Enrollment Report released by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) March 27.
