On January 25, Departments of Labor (DOL), Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Treasury (collectively, Tri-Agencies) issued a report to Congress and associated press release and fact sheet on the results of their Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008 (MHPAEA) compliance oversight activities during 2021. The report only includes federally regulated plans (both self-funded, union plans, and plans that are in non-enforcement states regulated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), including Texas, Wyoming, and Missouri).
