AHLA Announces Webinar Series Co-Presented with ASHRM

  • September, 09, 2021

AHLA announces their collaboration with the American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM), a professional membership group promoting effective and innovative risk management strategies and professional leadership, to co-present a free, three-part webinar series entitled, “Vaccination in the Health Care Workplace”. This series builds upon AHLA’s recently published book, Vaccine Mandates in the Health Care Workplace.

“AHLA continues to find new ways of delivering relevant content to its members and the health law community,” comments Rob Anderson, AHLA’s Senior Director of Publishing. “This partnership will provide health law professionals with real world solutions to the problems their facing around vaccine mandates.”

The first webinar of the series, “Vaccine Mandates: External Carrots & Sticks,” will be held September 23, 2021 at 11:00AM ET. Speakers at this webinar include Faye Sheppard, Brian Abramson, and Denise Hill, author of Vaccine Mandates in the Health Care Workplace. This first session will cover the various “carrots” and “sticks” the government, payers, and other stakeholders use to influence vaccinations, and the compliance implications of state and federal statutes, caselaw and regulatory guidance.

Registration will be available soon for parts two and three, which will be held in October and November. To learn more about AHLA’s complete educational offerings visit AHLA’s website.
