U.S. Court in Massachusetts Blocks Medicaid Funding Restriction for Abortion Providers in 22 States

A federal district court in Massachusetts agreed December 2 to issue a preliminary injunction blocking enforcement of a Medicaid funding restriction included in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) that applies to Planned Parenthood health centers in a lawsuit brought by 22 states and the District of Columbia.
