On June 18, 2025, the HIPAA Privacy Rule to Support Reproductive Health Care Privacy Final Rule (Privacy Rule) was vacated via court order by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas (Kacsmaryk, J.). Accordingly, the additional privacy protections that had been granted to reproductive health care information are no longer enforceable.
