Continuing Education

AHLA applies for Continuing Education Credits for this program and all of our programs. Participants will be able to receive credits for sessions they attend in person and watch on demand.

IN-PERSON TRACKING CREDITS: We are excited to bring you our new Continuing Education Tracking process! All attendees will have a bar code on their badge. Use it to scan into all the sessions you attend. That’s it! That’s all we need you to do. Certificates will be available in your AHLA Education Center accounts within 7-10 business days.

CLE: The maximum number of credits available for IN-PERSON is 16.0 (including 2.0 of ethics) for a 60-minute state and 19.2 (including 2.4 of ethics) for a 50-minute state. Please note that the actual number of credits may vary from state to state.

CPE: AHLA is a registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. AHLA is seeking CPE credits. The maximum number of credits available is 19.0.

CCB: AHLA will be applying for the Compliance Certification Board for LIVE CCB Continuing Education Units.

How to receive credit for LIVE attendance:

  • Once the recordings have been posted after the conference, attendees can request additional credit.
  • The on demand version of the conference will be available in our Education Center. You must be logged into our website to access it.
  • In the Education Center, under 'My Transcript', you will find the conference title that includes 'on demand'.
  • During each video, a 'CE CODE' will appear twice. This code will be needed after the video is complete to complete the quiz.
  • Once you have completed each session you want credit for, click on the 'Certificate Accreditation' tab and check the box.

RECORDED ON DEMAND CREDITS: You can also earn additional credits for sessions you watch on demand. We will also be posting recordings of the presentation from the in-person program. Credits can be earned for sessions you watch on demand. If you have already earned the credits for the in-person session, you may not then earn additional credits by watching that session on demand. You can only earn credit for the session once.

CLE: The maximum number of credits available for ON DEMAND is 46.0 (including 2.0 legal ethics) for a 60-minute state and 55.2 (including 2.4 legal ethics) for a 50-minute state. Please note that the actual number of credits may vary from state to state.

CPE: On demand credits are not available.

CCB:  AHLA will be applying for the Compliance Certification Board for NON LIVE CCB Continuing Education Units.

How to receive credit for ON DEMAND

  • Once the recordings have been posted after the program, attendees can watch session recordings to earn on demand/self-study credits.
  • Attendees will have access to the on demand version of the in-person program in their AHLA Education Center accounts.
  • Once your viewing is complete, you can claim credit and receive a certificate.
