Networking Opportunities

The networking opportunities at an in-person offer the perfect setting to advance your practice and forge professional relationships that can support you through every phase of your career. This multi-day program provides ample opportunity to network with presenters and peers, and to personally connect with a diverse group of specialists working in your field. All events are included in the registration fee unless otherwise indicated. We will continue to add additional networking events, so please check back.

* Please Note: We have scheduled networking events each evening to provide attendees with opportunities to engage with their colleagues and build their networks. If your firm is planning to hold a private event, please schedule it so it does not conflict with the already scheduled program activities.

Sunday, June 23

5:30-6:30 pm
Networking Reception— Welcome to a Monumental Annual Meeting, sponsored by Cobblestone Software
Be sure to arrive the evening before to join us and your colleagues from around the country as we welcome everyone to Washington, DC! New to the Association or perhaps this is your first Annual Meeting? Start with this reception to meet AHLA leaders, long time members, and other new members like yourselves. This event is included in the program registration; attendees, speakers, and registered adult, teen and youth guests welcome. Relax, grab a drink, find old friends (or make a few new ones), and get ready for 2 1/2 days of learning and networking!

Choose between an invigorating Bollywood class or a fun run around the nationals capitol! There is no additional charge for these events. Attendees, speakers, and registered adult, teen and youth guests are welcome. Pre-registration is required; space for the Bollywood class is limited.

Reception at the National Museum of African American History and Culture
Sponsored by AHLA Members' Law Firms
The off-property reception will be held at one of the city’s most impressive and inspiring museums: National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC). NMAAHC is a museum living out a commitment to educate, celebrate, engage and create. It is a museum providing a space to honor the past and reflect on it. The NMAAHC contains 12 permanent exhibitions as well as a selection of temporary exhibitions. AHLA will have exclusive access to the full museum and the exhibits.
