Opioid Reversal Drug Narcan Available Over-the-Counter in September, Manufacturer Says

Emergent BioSolutions Inc.’s opioid overdose reversal Narcan should be available over-the-counter through major pharmacies, grocery stories, and online retailers starting in September at a suggested price of $44.99 per carton, or $22.50 per dose, the company said in an August 30 statement.
