Medicare ACOs Saved Program $1.9 Billion in 2020, CMS Says

The Medicare Shared Savings Program generated $1.9 billion in net savings for Medicare across 513 Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) in 2020, the largest tally yet and the fourth consecutive year of savings, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) reported August 25.
