Ninth Circuit Nixes Surgeon’s Due Process Claims over Allegedly Erroneous State Investigative Report

A Ninth Circuit panel affirmed May 23 the dismissal of a physician’s lawsuit against present or former employees of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for allegedly damaging his reputation and “financial ability to make a living” by publishing an erroneous report involving an incident where he allegedly left an open-heart surgery before it was completed.
