Continuing Education

AHLA applies for Continuing Education Credits for this program and all of our programs. Participants will be able to receive credits for sessions they attend in person and watch on demand.

IN-PERSON TRACKING CREDITS: We are excited to bring you our new Continuing Education Tracking process! All attendees will have a bar code on their badge. Use it to scan into all the sessions you attend. That’s it! That’s all we need you to do. Certificates will be available in your AHLA Education Center accounts within 7-10 business days.

CLE: The maximum number of credits available for IN-PERSON is 17.1 (including 1.0 legal ethics) for a 60-minute state and 20.5 (including 1.2 legal ethics) for a 50-minute state. Please note that the actual number of credits may vary from state to state.

CPE: AHLA is a registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. AHLA is seeking CPE credits. The maximum number of credits available is 20.5.

CCB: The Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® has approved this event for up to  22.8 LIVE CCB CEUs based on a 50-minute hour. Continuing Education Units are awarded based on individual attendance records. Granting of prior approval in no way constitutes endorsement by CCB of this event content or of the event sponsor.

How to receive credit for LIVE attendance:

  • Each participant will receive a bar code on their program badge.
  • As you enter each session you attend, you must have the bar code on your badge scanned by the attendant at each entrance of the session rooms.
  • The total number of minutes will be calculated, and a certificate will be available to download in your My AHLA account one week following the in-person event.

RECORDED ON DEMAND CREDITS: You can also earn additional credits for sessions you watch on demand. We will also be posting recordings of the presentation from the in-person program. Credits can be earned for sessions you watch on demand. If you have already earned the credits for the in-person session, you may not then earn additional credits by watching that session on demand. You can only earn credit for the session once. You can submit your request for on demand credits by filling out our online form.

CLE: The maximum number of credits available for ON DEMAND is 45.6 (including 1.0 legal ethics) for a 60-minute state and 54.7 (including 1.2 legal ethics) for a 50-minute state. Please note that the actual number of credits may vary from state to state.

CPE: On demand credits are not available.

CCB: The Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® has approved this event for up to  65.5 NON LIVE CCB CEUs based on a 50-minute hour. Continuing Education Units are awarded based on individual attendance records. Granting of prior approval in no way constitutes endorsement by CCB of this event content or of the event sponsor.
