About the Annual Meeting

Navigate Risk. Lead Change. Shape the Future of Health Care Law.

Our AHLA Annual Meeting and In-House Counsel Program, our flagship event, is coming to New York City—an exciting hub for legal and health care professionals. Practical insights on enforcement, innovation, transactions, and policy—designed for today’s health law leaders.

The Annual Meeting brings together health law professionals for a focused, practical exploration of the legal and regulatory forces reshaping health care. As enforcement activity intensifies and innovation accelerates, the program equips attendees with actionable strategies to manage risk, support growth, and advise confidently in complex environments. This year’s agenda features deep dives into False Claims Act enforcement, corporate criminal investigations, Stark Law, managed care oversight, reimbursement disputes, and agency deference. Multiple sessions examine artificial intelligence in health care, helping legal and compliance teams oversee AI responsibly. Attendees will also explore health care antitrust, joint ventures, joint operating agreements, telehealth, rural partnerships, physician compensation, and post-transaction integration. Additional programming addresses behavioral health integration, life sciences and research collaborations, workforce and labor issues, Medicaid reform, prescription drug pricing, and emerging policy challenges.

Through interactive discussions and real-world case studies, the Annual Meeting delivers practical guidance for navigating today’s dynamic health care landscape.

On Monday evening, attendees are invited to an exclusive reception at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)—a highlight of the Annual Meeting and a true New York experience. Just steps from the conference hotel, the MoMA reception offers the perfect setting to unwind, reconnect, and build new relationships while enjoying world-renowned modern and contemporary art. It’s an evening designed to combine meaningful networking with culture, conversation, and a memorable backdrop that only New York City can offer.

The full schedule will be released soon. Register now for the Annual Meeting and the In-House Counsel Program to take advantage of early registration rates, available for a limited time. Hotel reservations are now open at the New York Hilton Midtown- our room block will sell out!
